Pragmatic Agile and non violent communication lead to a breakthrough at Technopolis.
The Context
“Our goal is to fascinate everyone and encourage
them to view the world in a new way,” states CEO Stephane Bergmans.
The Journey
Every five years, Technopolis enters into a covenant with the government, outlining their goals for the next five years. The previous covenant primarily focused on modernizing the exhibition space, necessitating internal operational changes at Technopolis. They transitioned to Agile roles, meeting rituals and planning tools emphasizing clear communication. This has organized the team more effectively with defined roles and responsibilities.
By teaching non violent communication techniques, employees have become more open with each other, reducing tensions. Creativity and boldness characterize Technopolis teams, but they have also learned to comprehend the business aspects.
“This journey towards Agile work and increased self-management
was a key ingredient for the succes of Technopolis,”
says Stephane Berghmans.
